Exposed

Tearing at my inner walls like incessant tears on mortared stone
My defenses fall to the onslaught of peace and serenity;
Gone great wall of refuge, refuge from the pain, the world…myself

Exposed, Vulnerable…Strong, I venture forth in wonder
My thoughts transparent, and wearing my heart as a badge,
Searching for inspiration, inimitability, meaning

Seemingly lost and floating on an endless breeze
Made of sighs and obscure dreams;
This mind continues on in ambiguous meanderings…
